Los viajes del viento
Tonight’s film comes from Colombia!
Los viajes del viento (2009)
Whether you’re learning Spanish or just looking for something to watch, Los viajes del viento is a great film.
It follows a musician’s journey to return an instrument to his teacher. Along the way, you’ll hear great music, and see parts of Colombia you may not have seen before.
The music is known as Vallenato, and the setting is northeastern Colombia. Most of the film is in Spanish, but you’ll also hear the indigenous Wayuunaiki language - spoken by the Wayuu. You’ll also hear Palenquero and Ikun.
